Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, a public state university in Purulia district of West Bengal, has announced PhD Admission for 2025-26 (Cycle 1).
Students who have qualified for fellowship/scholarship in UGC-NET/UGC- CSIRNET/ CEED/INSPIRE/WISE and similar National Level Tests will get 70 marks, UGC NET (Category-2) and SET will get 65 marks, UGC NET (Category-3) /GATE will get 60 marks out of 70. However , 30 marks will be kept for the performance in the interview/viva- voce examination. The qualifying marks in the interview/viva- voce examination is 50 percent.
An application fee of Rs. 1000/- (One thousand only) for Unreserved & OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- (Five hundred only) for SC/ST / Differently Abled candidates is to be paid online during the submission of application form.
