Candidates can apply online from 5 th July, 2023 to 4th August, 2023 (upto 11:50 PM) by registering on the website https://jnuee.jnu.ac.in. The intake and eligibility criteria along with other details related to Ph.D. programmes under JRF category are mentioned in the JNU e-Prospectus available on JNU website https://jnu.ac.in/. IMPORTANT POINTS FOR ADMISSION THROUGH ENTRANCE TEST (Ph.D.) 2023
1. Jawaharlal Nehru University offers admissions in Ph.D. Programmes for academic session 2023-24 through CBT based Entance Test for Ph.D.
2. Admissions to the above mentioned programmes at Sl No. 1 shall be made through Entrance Test (Ph.D.)-2023 to be conducted by NTA. Intending candidates are required to apply online for Entrance Test (Ph.D.)-2023 on the official website of NTA.
3. Students desirous of admission in these programmes of the university should satisfy themselves about their eligibility criteria prescribed for admission in the programmes.
4. Students not appearing in the prescribed Subjects/Tests for these programmes shall not be admitted in these programmes.
5. Admissions in these programmes shall be based on the performance of the candidates in Entrance Test (Ph.D.)-2023 and viva-voce marks earned by the eligible candidates taken together.
6. Reservation Policy of Govt. of India shall be applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD categories.
7. Syllabus for Entrance Examination 2023-24 will be available on the official website of the NTA.
8. For admission to JNU the candidates must apply SEPARATELY after the declaration of Entrance Test Ph.D. result.

प्रवेश परीक्षा (पीएचडी) 2023 के माध्यम से प्रवेश के लिए महत्वपूर्ण बिंदु
1. जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय पीएचडी में प्रवेश प्रदान करता है। पीएचडी के लिए सीबीटी आधारित एंटेंस टेस्ट के माध्यम से शैक्षणिक सत्र 2023-24 के लिए कार्यक्रम।
2. क्रम संख्या 1 पर उपर्युक्त कार्यक्रमों में प्रवेश एनटीए द्वारा आयोजित प्रवेश परीक्षा (पीएचडी)-2023 के माध्यम से किया जाएगा। इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों को प्रवेश परीक्षा (पीएचडी)-2023 के लिए एनटीए की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर ऑनलाइन आवेदन करना होगा।
3. विश्वविद्यालय के इन कार्यक्रमों में प्रवेश के इच्छुक छात्रों को कार्यक्रमों में प्रवेश के लिए निर्धारित अपनी पात्रता मानदंडों के बारे में संतुष्ट होना चाहिए।
4. इन कार्यक्रमों के लिए निर्धारित विषयों/परीक्षाओं में शामिल नहीं होने वाले छात्रों को इन कार्यक्रमों में प्रवेश नहीं दिया जाएगा।
5. इन कार्यक्रमों में प्रवेश प्रवेश परीक्षा (पीएचडी)-2023 में उम्मीदवारों के प्रदर्शन और पात्र उम्मीदवारों द्वारा अर्जित मौखिक परीक्षा के अंकों के आधार पर होगा।
6. सरकार की आरक्षण नीति. भारत का यह नियम SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD श्रेणियों से संबंधित उम्मीदवारों पर लागू होगा।
7. प्रवेश परीक्षा 2023-24 का पाठ्यक्रम एनटीए की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध होगा।
8.जेएनयू में प्रवेश के लिए उम्मीदवारों को प्रवेश परीक्षा पीएचडी की घोषणा के बाद अलग से आवेदन करना होगा। परिणाम।

ADMISSION OF PH.D. PROGRAMME THROUGH JRF CATEGORY
Only those candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements as prescribed for admission of candidates to Ph.D. programmes as mentioned in the respective schools/centres and have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship of CSIR, UGC National Eligibility Test (NET), ICMR, AYUSH, DBT examinations are eligible to apply separately in the prescribed form under this category in the respective school/centre/Special Centre wherever separate intake through JRF category is available (the link for this category will be available on the JNU website). Such candidates shall be exempted from appearing in Computer Based Test (CBT). However, candidates shall have to appear for an interview and their selection will depend on their performance in the interview. Candidates who have appeared in these examinations, but results awaited may also apply under this category. Please note that candidates who have been awarded “Lectureship/Assistant Professorship” (without JRF) in the CSIR/UGC examination and any other fellowship such as National Fellowship for Scheduled Caste (NFSC), National Fellowship for Other Backward Classes (NFOBC), Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) and National Fellowship for PWD (NFPWD) on the basis of Lectureship/Assistant Professorship (without JRF) are not eligible. Candidates may make sure themselves that their JRF certificate must be valid at the time of physical verification of documents. Candidature will be rejected, if found, their JRF certificate not valid at the time of physical verification of the documents. In case of candidates applying under JRF category selection will be done on the basis of 100% viva score.

पीएच.डी. का प्रवेश जेआरएफ श्रेणी के माध्यम से कार्यक्रम
केवल वे उम्मीदवार जो पीएचडी में प्रवेश के लिए निर्धारित न्यूनतम पात्रता आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करते हैं। संबंधित स्कूलों/केंद्रों में उल्लिखित कार्यक्रम और सीएसआईआर, यूजीसी राष्ट्रीय पात्रता परीक्षा (एनईटी), आईसीएमआर, आयुष, डीबीटी परीक्षाओं के जूनियर रिसर्च फेलोशिप के लिए अर्हता प्राप्त करने वाले संबंधित स्कूल/में इस श्रेणी के तहत निर्धारित फॉर्म में अलग से आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं। केंद्र/विशेष केंद्र जहां भी जेआरएफ श्रेणी के माध्यम से अलग प्रवेश उपलब्ध है (इस श्रेणी के लिए लिंक जेएनयू वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध होगा)। ऐसे उम्मीदवारों को कंप्यूटर आधारित टेस्ट (सीबीटी) में उपस्थित होने से छूट दी जाएगी। हालाँकि, उम्मीदवारों को साक्षात्कार के लिए उपस्थित होना होगा और उनका चयन साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन पर निर्भर करेगा। वे उम्मीदवार जो इन परीक्षाओं में शामिल हुए हैं, लेकिन परिणाम प्रतीक्षित हैं, वे भी इस श्रेणी के तहत आवेदन कर सकते हैं। कृपया ध्यान दें कि जिन उम्मीदवारों को सीएसआईआर/यूजीसी परीक्षा में “लेक्चरशिप/सहायक प्रोफेसरशिप” (जेआरएफ के बिना) और किसी अन्य फेलोशिप जैसे अनुसूचित जाति के लिए राष्ट्रीय फेलोशिप (एनएफएससी), अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के लिए राष्ट्रीय फेलोशिप (एनएफओबीसी), मौलाना से सम्मानित किया गया है। लेक्चरशिप/सहायक प्रोफेसरशिप (जेआरएफ के बिना) के आधार पर आजाद नेशनल फेलोशिप (एमएएनएफ) और पीडब्ल्यूडी के लिए नेशनल फेलोशिप (एनएफपीडब्ल्यूडी) पात्र नहीं हैं। उम्मीदवार स्वयं यह सुनिश्चित कर लें कि दस्तावेजों के भौतिक सत्यापन के समय उनका जेआरएफ प्रमाणपत्र वैध होना चाहिए। यदि दस्तावेजों के भौतिक सत्यापन के समय उनका जेआरएफ प्रमाणपत्र वैध नहीं पाया गया तो उम्मीदवारी खारिज कर दी जाएगी। जेआरएफ श्रेणी के तहत आवेदन करने वाले उम्मीदवारों के मामले में चयन 100% वाइवा स्कोर के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
