IIT Bombay – Monash Research Academy Announces PhD Admission December 2024 with International Fellowships

IIT  Bombay – Monash Research Academy (The Academy) has invited applications from eligible candidates for PhD admission in various research programs for the session December 2024.

IIT Bombay- Monash Research Academy is a partnership between IIT Bombay and Monash University, Melbourne (Australia).  The Academy is under-pinned by a PhD Agreement between IIT Bombay and Monash University, students will receive a dual-badged PhD degree from IIT Bombay and Monash University.

Fellowship Benefits:

Students in the joint IITB-Monash PhD program will benefit from the following funding arrangements:

Rs 4,92,000 per annum scholarship for the first two years.

Rs 5,52,000 per annum after the first two years.

A grant of up to AUD 35,000 per annum in Australia.

Upto one year in Australia working with your Monash University co-supervisor. Waiver of international student tuition fees at Monash University.

Last date for applying to IITB Monash Research Academy December 2024 PhD intake is 25 August 2024.

NOTE: Candidates without a valid GATE score or research fellowship can be considered for admission if they have a minimum of two years professional experience. Competition for places is high and a competitive selection process is applied to all applicants.
