- Admissions Based on UGC NET Scores:
Only UGC NET scores will be considered for Ph.D. admissions. - Eligible NET Exam Cycles:
- For entrance-based categories, only the NET exams conducted in December 2023 and June 2024 will be valid.
- Exempt Category Eligibility:
- All JRF holders (valid for 3 years) are eligible to apply under the exempt category.
- No Entrance Exam:
- The University will not conduct a separate entrance test.

- Eligibility Based on NET Scores:
Candidates are categorized as follows:

- Weightage for Admission (Categories 2 & 3):
- 70% weightage for NET scores.
- 30% weightage for interview performance.
- Validity of NET Scores:
- NET scores for Categories 2 and 3 are valid for one year for Ph.D. admissions.
- Special Cases for Entrance Exam:
- The University may hold an entrance exam for subjects not covered under UGC NET (e.g., Portuguese, Italian, Engineering, etc.).
- Research Proposal Submission:
- A research proposal is mandatory for all applicants at the time of application submission.
- Apply for UGC NET June 2024:
