Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, (BBAU), a Central University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, has announced PhD Admission 2025. UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/National level tests (whichever is applicable) score shall be used for admission to Ph.D. programme.
Total Number of Seats: The total number of vacant seats are 387: University Campus 355 and Amethi Campus 32.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 31 July 2025. With additional late fee of Rs 1000, the closing date for registration of application is 08 August 2025.

Selection Procedure: Final Merit list will be prepared based on the score in Category – I (JRF), Category – II (NET), Category-III or entrance test (70% weightage), the Interview component 30 marks will comprising of 5 marks for weightage of Academics [Bachelor’s degree (2% weightage), Master’s degree (3% weightage)], weightage for research proposal – 10 marks and weightage for personal interaction – 15 marks.
Candidates will be called for interview in 1:5 ratio based on declared number of category wise seats.
