Perceptual Visual Quality Assessment of Random User Generated 360° Content for Safety Critical Applications and Media Sharing Platforms
Project Description
The candidate is expected to perform image/video processing of 360° multimedia content. Specifically, on the panoramic media shared via online video sharing and social network platform such as Youtube, Facebook, etc. The goal of this project is to develop a tool that takes input a 360° video and provides the visual quality score (1-5) as output.

02 Years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable by one more year. The extension would be based on the satisfactory performance of the JRF and possible extension of the project.
Project Fellowship
Rs. 37,000 + Rs. 5,920 (16% HRA) = Rs. 42,920/- per month
[Fellowship may be revised as per the ANRF/SERB norms]
